In the company of Southern Aluminum Industries Complex, it is planned to produce 86 thousand tons of billets per year.

Application of aluminum billets:

• It is mainly used in aluminum extrusion industry and is produced by continuous casting or DC method.
• Aluminum extrusion is a method in which aluminum billets are converted to profiles with a specific surface.
• In the extrusion method, aluminum metal enters the special mold with hydraulic pressure and after cooling, it becomes the desired product. The application of these profiles is different and they are mostly used in the construction industry.
• In the South Aluminum Industries Complex Company, the plan for the production of aluminum billets will be 86,000 tons per year! These billets are provided according to customers’ orders in various sizes and shapes. The variety of sizes of aluminum billets produced by this company is due to the fact that it can meet the needs of different industries with the required sizes. The size range of aluminum billets of the South Aluminum Industries Complex is from 280 to 7500 mm.

Types of quality classification of aluminum billets

• Imported tickets: Includes tickets for Dobal, Talco and Rosal, which are mainly purchased from prominent countries in this field.
• DC Bill: Includes billets made of aluminum by DC casting or Directchill Casting. These tickets are different from the products of Iralco and Al-Mahdi.
• Standard ticket: Includes tickets produced by Al-Mahdi and Iralco factories, which experts in this field know by this name.
• Re-melting or conversion billet: Includes billets resulting from the heating of aluminum scrap.
